really speechless

Really speechless, the movie finally chose to take a few people to blow up alien creatures. Not afraid of failure? Aren't you afraid of releasing the monster decades in advance? And the discovery process is very outrageous, what the wife can think of: monsters are originally on this planet. Wouldn't it have occurred to any scientist in a few decades, or anyone in modern times? And found out, didn't the protagonist tell anyone? With the old, weak and infirm, and not afraid of dying in it, no one knows that the monster is here again? Want to carry this secret into the coffin? Even if the leaders don't believe your findings, if you go in and take a few pictures of the monsters, and ask national professionals to blow up the monsters, isn't it safer than taking a few old, weak, sick ones and blowing up the monsters yourself? Outrageous, really outrageous, I just fought by myself, and finally defeated the female beast, I am speechless

Exceeded expectations. If Dean had this book on your desk, I think you'd put it on the Hollywood "script blacklist" too. If you read enough films, I think you can think of no less than 10 related movies in your head. Forcing the big data to write the script, it actually covers the two enduring commercial themes of time-travel and alien invasion and their usual bridges (favorite father-daughter reconciliation in the future and the past to save the future) in one movie. Although it is very routine, I really admire Dean's integration ability. Compared with "A Quiet Place", the two are indeed similar, but the expression is different, but most of this alien is no match for the torrent-like Soviet armor and the locust-like U.S. military. Movies that focus on class and platoon tactics against aliens can't get around this bug. McKay's first live-action film, the overall audio-visual expression is acceptable, but some ordnance, military vehicle settings and combat tactics are lacking in details, which is a failure. It is a pity that Paramount sold 200 million to Amazon at a loss. The 94th Airlift Wing of the U.S. Air Force makes a cameo, and the Air Force likes to make such low-key appearances.

In an age where a time machine can be created, the method of putting a monster in a cage is actually to tie a rope to drag it with manpower. Isn't it appropriate? It took a lot of hard work and spent most of the film's time to develop toxins, but the results were not as effective as explosives. Why bother?

The Tomorrow War quotes

  • James Forester: Did you tell it to die?

    Dan Forester: Yeah.

James Forester: It worked. Why didn't you tell it sooner?

  • Dan Forester: [to Dorian] I'm not a hero. I was trying to save my daughter. If I got to save the world to save her, then I'm damn sure gonna do it.
