Hello Joey,

I still remember the first day we met. U were so tiny and loved to stand behind your mum. But then u have to live on yourself.

Believe it or not, I promised to treat u well. I didn't know dad had to sell u just as u had no idea that u had to leave ur mother and met me one day.

I never knew there's a game called the War. Yes, but it's real, it came between us. Both of us had our way, we needed to face the unknown world. I dared, not afraid, but to lose u.

Promise me, u will take care of yourself, so did I. Though I don't know the day we meet again. I will pray , u won't be hurt by anyone, the so called friends or enimies.

u won, right? We didn't looked into each other's eyes. But u felt just I did. They called it telepathy, what ever. I just knew it's u.

I laughed when I heard ur story. U were so wonderful to make them forget their status, no matter how short the happy time. They treated like the brothers, as it should be originally.

U must have a happy life, after the narrow escape. God bless u.
U mentioned not to bother anyone. But we cried and laughed, 'cause we're pround of u.

Hey, Joey, welcome back!
Let's go together.

Maybe my expectations were too high and the exteriors were too beautiful or too fake?

The story reminds people of Robert Bresson’s [Donkey Busat]. The final photography and use of light resemble John Ford again. [Warhorse] is too successful in terms of artistry and appreciation. The most impressive thing in the film is the soundtrack of John Williams and the good luck of this horse. The human role has become secondary, but it is necessary to rely on the horse and the soundtrack to support the heavy feeling of a war film. It looks too spiritual. Don't be superstitious about the director! ★★★

War Horse quotes
