One more star for Puss

I've been looking forward to it for a long time, but after I finally saw it, I felt that it didn't meet my expectations, but Puss and the cat bar are too cute, so I'd better give it four stars.

As Shrek's popular character, DreamWorks has put a lot of effort into the promotion of this film. Although the official statement has also stated that this is a different film from Shrek, I can't help but look forward to the same level of production as Shrek's first two films. . But from what I understand, the company's definition of this animation is very suspicious. It seems to have deliberately created a main line that young audiences can understand and resonate with, and then rely on the consistent DreamWorks Tucao style to attract Older viewers of other age groups.

As far as the main line is concerned, it is so simple and clear that it is a little uncomfortable. It is quite a running account. It seems that there has never been a foreshadowing until the truth is revealed at the end. It lacks drama, and the tendency to take care of small audiences is obvious. After all, it is PG-level (although there are also many complaints that definitely surpass PG), so it is not too picky. However, the appearance of the female cat seems to be only for a heroine to promote the development of the plot. Although the director made the female cat appear again and again at key moments to emphasize the importance of this role, she still did not see any necessity in her plot, not to mention the character of the female cat. It's thin, and the long story is even a bit boring.

The details of the jokes are actually very well done, many of them are not all ages, and it is estimated that the small audience can't understand it. Although the individual details are less innovative this time, the old meme in Shrek still makes the audience smile when they appear (of course, there must be catnip!). The audience was on fire when No hablo Ingles appeared! This time, the screenwriter has found a lot of inspiration from several popular Banderas movies. Except for the Zorro series, Desperado is probably the second most frequent spoof. For those who haven't seen it, please be sure to watch Desperado first. It is full of highlights. what!

The most unsatisfactory part of this animation is the distribution of jokes. Unlike previous works, in order to enhance the emotional intensity of the main drama, the frequency of complaining about details is obviously less. The sense of drop in the degree of sudden drop, the integrity has to be discounted.

Other evaluations are basically positive, Puss is very beautiful, the Spanish guitar BGM is amazing, the picture is beautiful and the details are very attentive. In the end, the fact that Salma Hayek was chosen for the dubbing itself is a godsend, but unfortunately her voice acting skills are quite ordinary. The role of a female cat is really nothing like Carolina's ghost~ =v=

Very cute cats, very fun and nostalgic fairy tales, people miss the carefree childhood... All kinds of cute, all kinds of cute, people can't help but soft inside. The hardened hearts of adults need this soft lubrication. Boot cat's cute big eyes are really unbearable, so cute~~
