First of all, I complain about the male protagonist. I seriously doubt that this male protagonist is used to set off the cuteness of Pikachu.
The plot is also too standardized. At the beginning of Mewtwo's appearance is to let you presume that Mewtwo is a bad guy, and then come back with a reversal that has been seen countless times. Most people can guess it right from the start.
In a city where humans and Pokémon live in harmony, everyone has their own Pokémon, don't ask why there is no male protagonist, who Pikachu is for. When I came to my father's office, Pikachu was waiting for him there. It would be nice, if only Pikachu was waiting for me at my house. When Pikachu spoke, it was Deadpool's accent, and it was too playful. Pikachu can only understand the male protagonist's speech, which is explained later. Outsiders sound like pika pika, who can stand it.
Then the male protagonist feels that his father is not dead, and starts to explore the accident that happened at the beginning of the film. Although it is called Detective Pikachu, the plot is driven entirely by the lines, and the reasoning process cannot be felt at all. Whether it is the friend of the male protagonist's father or the female protagonist, they are all pushing the male protagonist to move forward with Pikachu, and even no clues can be found. At that time, someone kidnapped them and forced them to continue.
Later, I came to the company where the accident happened, and after a series of events, I told you that Mewtwo was a good thing (it's totally unpredictable). The villain wears something similar to a brain wave transmitter and gets his thoughts on Mewtwo, and then wants to merge humans with his own Pokémon??? Are you not one yourself? Don't you have a body? Just wanting to deprive other people of their bodies is simply perverted. Pikachu's 100,000 volts, which had been paved for an hour and a half, were finally released, but they still couldn't win the invincible Mewtwo, but! The male protagonist wins by removing the brainwave transmitter from the villain's head??? Can't you move your body to a safe place first?
Finally, the Easter egg came. It turns out that Pikachu and the father of the male protagonist have merged into one. The father of the male protagonist is Deadpool. No wonder it is his voice. Is your son so big? Or is he a black man?
All in all, it is a gorgeous appearance with a standard template plot, and the plot can't be delved into at all, but those Pokémon are really cute, and it's worth just watching them.
