war and reconciliation

This is the growth history of five people. It is each man's war and reconciliation with himself.
Nic pursues the sense of security that paternalistic authority brings to him, but because of his strength, he is increasingly alienated by his family. Later, to see her restraining herself so strongly and facing everyone in a pleasing manner, I really felt a little distressed. Yet this is love. I think she must love Jules.
Jules has always been looking for the reflection and recognition of her self-worth. When she found that Paul replaced Nic to meet her needs, she couldn't control Paul's bed.
The two children are actually the shadows of each of us during adolescence, eager to grow up and eager to do one or two things worth showing off to prove that no one else needs to care about them in the future. I have also made friends who pulled us into the water, and also had ambiguous love affairs. However, it is actually ourselves who pull us down and cause us to fall in love.
I also wanted to break free from the shackles of family, but after walking far, I found that home is the source of all our sense of security and maintenance.
Paul seems to be miserable. The involvement of this family allows him to see the warmth and happiness of family life. Before that, he lived a free and unrestrained life, but when he wanted to integrate into them, he found that although there were conflicts and contradictions in this family, it was really self-contained and unbreakable. So he seemed to have lost his wife and lost his soldiers, and dumped his former gunmates, but he did not get the stability he wanted. But in fact it should be, because Jules is not his stability. They were just a glimpse of each other, and they just helped each other find what they wanted the most right now.
As for whether he will continue to find his stability or return to his original uninhibited life, it is estimated that everyone has their own expectations.
