"But I have my certainty!"

"How can you be so sure that he is lying?" Experience. (I just abhor him, from all my knowledge, for all he did.) Intolerance. Gossip. Two operative weapons to the crucifixion of the embedded stigma. Yet we call it in an euphemism as "experience".

Actually, this is a comedy film, which made me burst out laughing several times. His expression throughout the quarrel, riled but unbelievable, wry smile full of questioning and tears, is hilarious. And the funniest thing about the sister is, like, I know I don't know exactly, I know I don't have proof, and I even know I'm judging and lying, but you know what? I know people. "You have the slightest proof of anything!" "But I have my certainty!"?

There are few people who are able to stand on the side where they espouse those who really do good to others, still less people who make the endeavor to talk themselves into accepting things really beneficent but amoral. And let go even the talk about why is everything related to moral. The Father is cast out, the only black boy left bullied, the mother hurt, the sister hovered, is that a gratifying closure? No, but yes, for the moral is satisfied. There is no wrong about doubts, what is wrong is just not realizing there is no "side" and even staying fixed to it, in the name of something holy.

"There are people who go after your humanity. They tell you the light in your heart is your weakness. It's an old tactic of cruel people to kill kindness in the name of virtue." Take it down, take it down.

Adapted from a stage play, it is full of a lot of indoor scenes and tit-for-tat lines. The actors are very entertaining, but I hope there is a little more space for other parts. The story is small but the script is good. Although I have seen the trailer, the climax scene is still very impactful. The director wanted to make the point of the story ambiguous, but this ambiguity was narrated in a very clear way.
