The film began as a self-portrait of Victor. As the only actor who went abroad, Sparky, aside from his hands, the significance to him is obviously self-evident.
Mr. Rzykruski is a key figure. He inspired Victor to bring Sparky back to life. It was the first to roar at these stupid humans in this rotten place. Even when he walked away, he predicted that science is good or bad, but the results of science are not. This coincides with the resurrection in the same way, but other creatures do not have the beautiful mind of Sparky at all.
It may be technology that revives Sparky's body, but it is Victor's tears that revives its mind. Mr. Rzykruski asked, do you love your work? Lightning only borrows the corpse, and love brings it back to life.
This Gothic to dark style is really not suitable for children to watch. Although Tim Bolton grew up as a master of this style, Tim Bolton may not be one out of a hundred people. As Mr. Rzykruski said, the style of the movie is not good or bad, but it doesn’t matter whether it is light or shadow in your heart after watching it.
The town of ignorance drives away the science teacher and hunts down Sparky, this is Tim Bolton's style. Sparky rescued Victor, and the whole town used car engines to rescue Sparky, which was Disney style.
Highlights:
1. This is the first film by Tim Burton without Johnny Depp after "Big Fish" in 2003; it is also the first film without Helena Bonham Carter after "Dropped Head" in 1999.
2. This is the third collaboration between Tim Burton and Winona Ryder. The last time was "Edward Scissorhands" in 1990.
3. The name of the tortoise resurrected in the movie is Shelley. "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley is one of the inspirations for this film. It can be seen from the film and the protagonist’s name.
4. Tim Burton, another queen actor, Christopher Lee, did not participate in the film. But in the film Victor's parents watched a movie in the living room, "Dracula" shot in 1958, starring him.
5. Mr. Rzykruski's image is very similar to the late actor Vincent Price, and his films have a great influence on Tim Burton.
