A literary film in a sci-fi coat

The script conception perspective is unique and innovative. At first, I thought it was a sci-fi film with a tense plot and a strong sense of technology, but after watching it patiently, you may feel that this is not a sci-fi film, but a literary film, a scientific ethics film...
The performance of the actors is still good.
To quote a passage from "A Dream of Red Mansions", when Daiyu first saw Baoyu, "Daiyu was taken aback when she saw it, and she thought to herself, "It's so strange, it's like I've seen it there, how familiar it is ! "
Have you ever felt this way about someone? Has he/she left an unforgettable memory in your life?

Combining science fiction, religion, and love into the same story, constantly torturing our rationality and emotions, and not forgetting to leave a huge imagination space in the final easter egg. Great, highly recommended!

This story is extremely scary to think about... it is a romance film in a sci-fi coat, but wait, it seems that religious things have mixed in... The biggest feeling after reading it: people who do not have a common language will not have good results together (.

I Origins quotes

  • Sofi: You know you have it.

    Ian: Have what?

Sofi: But you're scared of it.

    Ian: I have what?

Sofi: Okay. You live in this room, right?

    Ian: Mm-hmm.

Sofi: Reality. You have a bed, you have books, um, a desk, a chair, lamps. Logic. But in this room, you have a door... to the other side. See? Light comes through. It's open just a tiny bit, but it is open. You keep trying to close that door because you're scared. But you won't always be scared.

Ian: What's behind the door? Besides my dirty laundry.

Sofi: You have to go in to find out. You know what I'm talking about.

    Ian: I have no idea.

    Sofi: You will.

Ian: Every living person on this planet has their own unique pair of eyes. Each their own universe. My name is Doctor Ian Gray. I'm a father, and husband, and I'm a scientist. When I was a child, I realized that the camera was designed exactly like the human eye, taking in light through a lens, forming it into images. I began taking as many pictures of eyes as I possibly could. I'd like to tell you the story of the eyes that changed my world.
