There's no point in doing this

1. There are generally two types of remakes, one is to borrow the story frame of the previous work and retouch some details; the other is to change a few actors and copy the others. Unfortunately, "Don't Enter the American Version" chose the latter remake, which is too similar to the previous one.

2. Of course, this version also has its value, which is the re-interpretation of the two protagonists by Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

3. Chloe Moretz Needless to say, from "500 Days with Summer" to "Kick-a-Bian", she exudes a unique charm without exception. What is rare is that Curtis Meet also plays almost impeccable, although he is not very dazzling in "Doomsday".

The American version is a bit more realistic, the photography is not so poetic, and the music is also heavier, including the death of the person as soon as they come up. The relationship between the two people does not give me the feeling of a ghost and no guessing like the original work, but the heroine is still good. This edition also seems to be more explicit in its treatment of gender issues.

it's all the merits of the original plus more tension and frame by frame beautification, the best new release I've seen so far this year
