Jude, I like this type.
Across the Universe, great graphics, awesome visuals, but, but, but, the music sucks. I don't know what the Beatles songs that dragged on for N beats should be called, and I don't like this kind of musical muttering. The Beatles represent a touch of sadness but bring hope and comfort. , not these out-of-tune songs that sound like lullabies but can make children cry.
Although there is a basic framework for the events of the 1960s in the United States, the tone of the whole film always feels like a child playing hide and seek, deliberately hiding for a long time and afraid that no one will find it, talking about love, and fighting wars.
Still, Jude is really my type.

The script strung with lyrics and history, it's amazing! Adore the director..

There are still a lot of loopholes, but in the middle of the night, I can stay awake all the way and watch it enthusiastically. It's pretty good. In fact, this should be rock and roll more than singing and dancing. It doesn't have to be noisy to be called a rock movie. It’s the first time I understand the lyrics of the chieftain by watching the subtitles; the first time I saw Bono without sunglasses, it would be in the movie, sweat...

Across the Universe quotes

  • Mr. Kite: It's me!

    [music blast]

    Mr. Kite: In the thing!

  • Max: You're up before two and looking wicked cool. Who's it for?

    Sadie: I have a meeting.

Max: [southern accent] Why, is that prayer a meeting?

Sadie: Yeah, for your twisted soul.

    Sadie: [kisses Max's cheek]

Sadie: Put my shirt away when you're done.

    Max: Yes ma'am.
