Geniuses also enjoy ordinary happiness

What touched me most about this film was the relationship between my uncle and niece. Even if there were bumps and stumblings, they would always be together in the end. But I don't know why I always feel that the film is still unfinished. After watching it, my heart is a little empty.

What I like most is the interaction between the backs of two people under the sunset, what a comfortable way to get along, what a happy time. If it is grandma, maybe there are only numbers and equations facing one after another, and simple beauty and happiness cannot be satisfied!

Give children a little more happiness and make children more ordinary, even if they are geniuses, it may be difficult not to be depressed without happiness. Genius may need ordinary care and happiness more.

May everyone in the world live happily and happily, and may the world be less depressed and dark.

Before becoming geniuses, geniuses were born as ordinary people (like the scene in the hospital). It may be an improper metaphor, just like the one-eyed Fred, although it will be special among the crowd, it does not prevent the little girl from having the simplest and purest happiness like her.

A genius girl who is super cute but a girly man, a handsome uncle who repaired a ship but was a university assistant, a one-eyed cat, full of routines, but seductive and comfortable. The line of grandma and mother is responsible for depth, and the line of uncle and niece is responsible for warmth. Even talented people deserve ordinary joy.

Gifted quotes

  • Frank Adler: Miss Davis, if we separate our leaders - if we segregate them from people like you and me - you get "congressmen." So I'm sorry. I wish I can take your offer, but Mary stays. Unless you kick her out.

Gloria Davis: This is a mistake. We'll never be able to raise this child to the level of scholarship she deserves.

    Frank Adler: Well...

    [sarcastically]

Frank Adler: just dumb her down to a decent human being. Everybody wins.

  • Mary Adler: Is there a God?

    Frank Adler: I don't know.

    Mary Adler: Just tell me.

Frank Adler: I would if I could. But I don't know. Neither does anybody else.

    Mary Adler: Roberta knows.

Frank Adler: No. Roberta has faith... And that's the great thing to have. But faith's about what you think, feel. Not what you know.

    Mary Adler: What about Jesus?

Frank Adler: Love that guy. Do what he says.

Mary Adler: But, is he God?

Frank Adler: I don't know. I have an opinion. But that's my opinion and I could be wrong. So why would I screw up yours? Use your head. But don't be afraid to believe in things either.

Mary Adler: Huh. There was a guy on TV who said there was *no* God.

Frank Adler: The only difference between the atheists on TV and Roberta is, Roberta loves you. She trying to help. Tell you what though. One way or another we all end up back together in the end. That's what you're asking, right?

    Mary Adler: Yep.

Frank Adler: Okay. Find something else to worry about, will ya?

    Mary Adler: All right.
