As a movie, everyone thought it wasn't a success because it was hard to do well, and it did not do well. As a matter of fact, watching this movie is worse than watching a documentary, because we can't see the similarities and differences between it and a documentary, and in the end it turns into a strange thing that is neither a documentary nor a movie. In order not to offend the innocent victims who died, everyone believes that this comment should be treated seriously and very respectably. Not being kidnapped by morality is the greatest respect for the victims.
Perhaps, this movie should not be made at all, just like the Great God Stone should not make the World Trade Center, this is a very, very difficult subject matter. The red line of authenticity cannot be touched, but unfortunately it is a red line stretched by tragedy and despair. The full details and plot of the film have long been known in the news reports. Watching this film is nothing more than reorganizing the news information. There is no novelty and no narrative motivation.
I don't know how to make a film like this. Maybe Oliver Stone can, like JFK, unearth something behind the scenes that we don't know, hold up justice and kindness, and tell a story we don't know.
