Birth, old age and death

I came across this movie about an old man and an old lady by chance, so I came to watch it in the dead of night.

After reading it, he turned to face her who was sitting on the other side of the sofa, "Will we be like this when we get old? What should we do?"

A story about "old age, sickness, and death", "love and companionship", the film presents it so real and pure, as if the real thing happened in front of you, simple and peaceful. The old man ended the life of the old lady, dressed her up, put her in a clean dress, sprinkled flower petals, wrote his last words, and passed away. The tragedy brought a lot of depression and pain, which has not been released for a long time. ...

"I'm sorry, old man! For letting you worry about me in the last years of my life, please forgive me for being helpless and angry at you before the tricks of fate. Thank you for catching the dove for me, thank you for letting it fly; thank you for sending it My flower... I was wrong, I shouldn't scare you from the beginning, I shouldn't be so vulnerable after falling down, I shouldn't lose the courage to face my daughter and students, and I shouldn't reject the spoon you handed over And grief at you. And life is life, why can't you face it head-on? . . . In the days of heaven, I will be braver, and I will take care of you..."

Birth, old age, sickness and death are like flowers blooming and falling in spring, summer, autumn and winter. If you cherish the plain, live a magnanimous life with no regrets, or live a wonderful and fragrant life, why not be afraid of parting from life and death. Even when the body falls, the spirit stands, and love lasts forever.

In an indoor environment, Hanek has photographed an endless world: actors, schedulers, voices, paintings...you must compare the details. I had dinner with a friend of his lighting engineer in the evening. Speaking of the film's long lens, I have retaken dozens of times, all kinds of still, pushing the track, and following the film. It is as steep and exciting as a mountain, and there is no room for mistakes. The scene where the two were at the dinner table, that color! The beauty of light almost made me scream: this kind of risky and error-free only makes people look back at ancient oil paintings.

Love is two people keeping an island together. Struggling for one last bit of dignity in front of the death of a disease of old age and her daughter's caregiver neighbors.

Amour quotes

  • Anne: It's beautiful.

    Georges: What?

    Anne: Life. So long.

  • Anne: There's no point in going on living. That's how it is. I know it can only get worse. Why should I inflict this on us, on you and me?

Georges: You're not inflicting anything on me.

Anne: You don't have to lie, Georges.

Georges: [looks down at the floor contemplatively] Put yourself in my place. Didn't you ever think that it could happen to me, too?

Anne: Of course I did. But imagination and reality have little in common.

Georges: But things are getting better every day.

Anne: I don't want to carry on. You're making such sweet efforts to make everything easier for me. But I don't want to go on. For my own sake, not yours.

Georges: I don't believe you. I know you. You think you are a burden to me. But what would you do in my place?

Anne: I don't want to rack my brain over this. I'm tired, I want to go to bed.
