There hasn't been a movie like Persepolis in a long time that I can't calm down for a long time after watching it. First of all, I think the achievements of this film in the art direction are not trivial. Compared with Disney or DreamWorks cartoons, this film does not have such a gorgeous appearance, nor does it have 3D gimmicks, but from the perspective of pure painting, I Prefer the rustic and expressive of Persepolis. Besides, the political themes and historical background involved in this film, as a Chinese, can at least be compared more or less. I like the story of the little girl in the film very much. I use the sorrow and joy of a family to express the society, and see the big from the small. Everything is so natural, not imposed on the audience. The film's dialogue and music, as well, are the kind of movies that make you laugh one moment and break your heart the other. 10 out of 10, 9 out of 10, yes, this is one of the best cartoons I've ever seen.
PS Counting this film, the few French films I've watched recently have all moved me.
