The flashbacks and interludes are incoherent, and good themes are filmed as Hollywood assembly lines.

The score of this film is so high, I personally think that most of it comes from the emotional score of the subject matter. The film itself is not worth this score in terms of shooting, narration, and editing. Flashbacks and interludes are incoherent and make the story seem fragmented. Obviously it is a subject with great room to play, but it has been turned into a Hollywood assembly line operation. The first half of the film has the hazy effect of the American youth film, which does not match the theme of the film's story. This novel should be made even better!

My Sister's Keeper quotes

  • Sara Fitzgerald: Oh my God, you're good. You're really good. You know, I've seen your commercials, right? I mean, who hasn't? And I always thought that you were some sort of headline-seeking hack. But you have real talent. You almost had me believing that you cared about Anna.

Campbell Alexander: Funny, I was about to say the same thing to you.

  • Kate Fitzgerald: This is it. I know I'm going to die now. I suppose I've always known that. I just never knew when. And I'm okay with it. Really. I don't mind my disease killing me. But it's killing my family, too.
