Four stars. A standard biographical film that brings a character like Eddie the Eagle to life as he pursues his dreams.
The protagonist Eddie wants to participate in the Olympic Games, but his stubborn father thinks that he is not the material, so he has been obstructing it in every possible way. But the persistent Eddie did not give up. Through his unremitting efforts and expert guidance, he finally got the admission ticket to the Winter Olympics. Although Eddie finished last in the Winter Olympics, it did not prevent him from becoming a legend, as he was the first British high-level skier to qualify for the Olympics. The film also promotes the theme of the Olympic Games, "The important thing in Olympic games is not the winning but the taking part. The important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle." The dialogue in the elevator, "It doesn't matter whether you win or lose, those laity people will worry about it; for people like you and me, skiing is to release the soul."
In the end, both lead roles are well-acted, and Ace and Wolverine are still on the line when they play ordinary people.
