Supplementary note, on February 24, 2017, from 9:25 to early morning, I watched the final chapter of the Resident Evil series. Because I'm not very demanding of this kind of movie - enough to make me nervous - plus the shadows of my childhood left by the first Resident Evil, I'm still relatively satisfied with this movie overall.
As a game adaptation movie, the story line is simple and clear, and the plot is interspersed between heavy levels. Of course, the logic of the plot and the motives of the characters' actions must not be speculated with logic. You can see what she does.
The pace and style of the movie is a bit like Mad Max, especially when Alice is speeding down the desolate highway. It's hard to see the warm side in the iron-blooded female man Alice. Her fighting ability and tenacious ability of life are definitely abnormal in artificial intelligence.
Although it is called the final chapter, the movie finally gave a happy ending, although I think it is more perfect and more tragic to stay at the moment when Alice the clone sacrificed for all mankind. But, how to continue shooting then? After all, in front of money, ending anything is bullshit.
Speaking of warmth, although Alice couldn't help shedding tears when she faced the Red Queen handing over the memory of her body to herself - Dad, I finally have childhood memories - but I am more than Lupiros being made into minced meat by a fan machine More heartache! The ending of Lee Joon Ki's character is a bit funny. The speed is fast enough but the brainless words are enough to ruin the image. The appearance of being tied behind a tank and being chased by the living dead is simply ridiculous. The passage where the professor was finally stabbed to death by his clone was also a big slot, and it almost became the biggest laughing point in the audience.
By the way, the first laugh point appeared in about 10 minutes - the moment when Alice was drinking water by the water and was suddenly attacked by a big fish - everyone exclaimed and started to start hahaha, maybe this can relieve their tension Be in the mood.
In addition to this, what worries me the most is the final confrontation between Alice and the professor. The classic rectangular glass space in the first movie is still those terrible laser rays. It's a pity that the grid rays didn't appear, although I understand that this might be because the director didn't know how to fix it.
In addition, there are many places where the fight details are blurred out by the camera so quickly that I think Alice just passed the level in a daze. The fact that the living dead run wild has actually appeared in many movies, such as the very popular trip to Busan last year. It doesn't mean that the living dead can't run fast. After all, after so many years of evolution and upgrading of the living dead, it is reasonable, but the accelerated army of the living dead does not play much role other than running.
Overall, the visual effects scenes are okay, and the soundtrack is also well integrated with the story. Although there is no endless aftertaste, the urge to review the first five books is indeed there.
