I just watched "Young and Vigorous" and I like it very much. The film is based on the hidden fears of the main characters, and finally explores the proposition of the youthful spirit.

The director fears that his past works are dispensable, so he must make a final emotional, intellectual and spiritual legacy. Actors and Miss World, they all changed their lives through a role and a draft. On the one hand, I hope to get rid of the brand of the character, and on the other hand, I am afraid of what they have left without this label. The dialogue between Miss World's original makeup and the actors was very cleverly designed. The conductor's daughter is afraid of losing love, obsessed with what she is inferior to her husband Xinhuan. In the past, the football king feared losing his health. Only when the left-handed little boy got better under the guidance of the conductor, he rushed up and said that he was also left-handed, as if his body could be redeemed in the words of the conductor.

It is fear and obsession. Worry is born of love, and fear is born of love. But if it stops here, this movie won’t be called. What is the essence of youth? Some love, some pursuit, no fear. In the end, almost everyone's fear was resolved to some extent. After the conductor’s daughter separated from her husband, she felt free. The actor was healed by the little girl's words, and decided to play only the roles he really wanted in the future, purely unrealistic or even immoral, because those are the meaning of our lives. The director can never return to daily life in dust like a conductor, so he chooses to complete his final work at the cost of life, as he said, "emotion is everything to us". At this point, the conductor finally removed his mask of indifference and began to cry in the woods. He eventually went to Venice to visit his wife, and accepted the Queen's invitation to conduct his most melodious work "Simple Movement". He can also let him sing by someone who is not his wife.

Among the adults in the whole film, the massaging women can be regarded as the externalization of the youthful spirit. She is not good at speech and understands others through her physical touch. She also plays somatosensory dancing games. The director is the most extreme expression of the theme of Youth, and his death rekindled the conductor's frozen heart. If the doctor declared the conductor to be physically healthy, then a knowing smile at the masseuse would be a psychological recognition that he was not old. As a person whose physical desires diminish with aging, and turn a blind eye to a beautiful body, he realized at this moment that he really does not need to be afraid, and he does not need to suppress himself and only conduct the music of nature in the woods. He can return to the stage to play "Simple Movement" again, even though the singer is someone else, the unique Melanie is in his heart.
