If this is a domestic movie, it will probably be sprayed out.

The visual effects of this film are very good, and some details are well done, such as the black cook and wolf pack tactics. But it can't be called a hardcore blockbuster because it has some obvious mistakes in the military:

1: The film time is set in February 1942, and the earliest Fletcher-class destroyer (that is, the Greyhound in the film) was commissioned in June 1942.

2: The firepower of the Fletcher class is equipped with five 127mm high-level dual-purpose guns, several Laoganma, 40mm Bofors and 20mm Oerlikon, and a salvo can disintegrate the U-boat on the spot. Can you fight a U-boat gun battle with only one poor 88 gun? (In the end, he actually won by himself...) I'm afraid that all gunners are blind.

3: Torpedoes also play ricochet, forgive me for laughing when I saw this scene.

4: Regarding radio provocation. Historically, U-boats may only have the opportunity to randomly turn their frequencies and crash into the US military channel, and there has never been any provocative behavior. (Wouldn't it be nice to have the opportunity to eavesdrop on some intelligence?)

5: The primary target of U-boats is merchant ships, not escort warships! Sinking a merchant ship is far more valuable to Germany than sinking a warship (it's just like expelling when you come up, either looking for death or not wanting to live) and it won't act during the day, usually at night. Submarines can't hide from destroyers when they meet them. How can they fight with destroyers.

6: Regarding the effervescent film (that is, the decoy bomb of the U-boat), the American sailor said that his brother met on the Kidd (DD-661 Kidd), but Kidd only served in 43 years. In general, it is a classic Hollywood-style cool film. Professional terms and passwords seem to give people a strong sense of reality, but the obvious mistakes in the plot and props make it difficult to enter the play.
