Villains love heroes since ancient times

In the evening, I was pulled by a friend to watch The Mechanic 2, probably because I didn't have much expectations, and after reading it, it was almost as expected. The only thing I want to say is that when Arthur seriously told Gina about his childhood entanglements with the villain, it suddenly made me feel like I watched Spectre last year.

In recent blockbusters, it seems that there is always such a big villain who has been entangled with the protagonist for many years and refuses to let go. He threatens his lover, relatives and all important people, and sets up various obstacles to let the protagonist fight monsters and upgrade all the way to the peak, desperately giving away experience, It's really hard work, usually put his own life into it, and often don't forget to express his affection before his death. Isn't this true! Love! !

In fact, there is nothing wrong with such a setting itself. I still like to watch the resourceful behind-the-scenes gangster play a game of wits and courage with the protagonist (love and kill), after all, every hero story has to have an old-school villain. . However, at least it has to be shaped like a three-dimensional point with IQ points. It's not a cool big BOSS if you don't tie yourself up with a stern face and surround yourself with a group of bodyguards, drive a boat and run around the world! ! ! It's not a random childhood, you ran away and left my backstory, it's a good reason to lose everything and kill the protagonist! ! ! Although you even know his father's watch, you are really not the heroine, and you didn't get the script of the base friend who became angry after being in love for many years. Is it bad to be a simple villain and kill the protagonist.

At the end, when the boss yelled "you deserted me" on the boat, my heart also collapsed. This reason is far less reasonable than that only Arthur can get rid of his competitors. After all, he does so much to let the hero complete his task. Killing Arthur afterwards is nothing more than a standard procedure, which cannot be seen from the movie. I can't see that Arthur's departure has left him so traumatized with the slightest personal feelings. It's all use. Let's be sincere, okay? Don't force it.

Having said so much, it is probably the setting of the movie itself, because every character is flat, and the whole movie is flat and there are no surprises. The traditional hero saves the United States main line, revenge assassination gunfight hand-to-hand, helicopter yacht jumping into the sea, and the blunt BG line suddenly pops, every step is a routine. This kind of film was a bit outdated ten years ago, not to mention that there are not so good productions and a plot full of loopholes, it is really difficult to get the audience to buy it. So it was really shocking to know that the director of this film also directed Tide and Hitler's Boys. I still love those two movies, it hurts. I would rather believe that this is an unintentional stepping stone to Hollywood.

But Jessica is in really good shape. Moreover, he played a qualified vase, was kidnapped very smoothly, occasionally gave the male lead some small assists, and finally both returned to the mountains to live a happy and happy life. As for why the former agents who have been on the battlefield are so bad, let's not delve into it any further. Statham's fight scene is also worth watching, and some people think that the most eye-catching character in this film, Mr. Jones is more like the big boss's goal three than the big boss. So if you use it to pass the time and look at it, it's okay, the beauty and the muscles are still very pleasing to the eye.

Pulling back to the topic, I hope there will be less stupid bosses in future films. If you love him, please try to become a more competent villain for him :)
