Dragging a movie that I haven't seen all the time, now it gives me a lot of touches

This movie gave me a taste of the exotic, and I watched the Middle East world of Afghanistan and Palestine. In the film, I kept reflecting on myself, whether I, like the protagonist of the film, lacked something and lacked the courage to fight. Blindly avoiding something, seeing a friend being bullied, but running away, and then pretending not to see it; for the bullying of others, I actually accepted the birthday present, didn't dare to make a sound, and hid by myself. Perhaps this is what we often call cowardice.
The ending of the movie is something I didn't expect. It's not common in American movies. It stands out and looks good to the opponent. The fact is that the villain back then became the king of a mountain. Thought Hassan would get ahead, and then the two of them released their suspicions, but they didn't. On second thought, this is the real story, the real movie. Amir's father did not make a comeback because of his character, and the couple who were rescued in the car did not repay him with death. At a critical moment, he stepped forward. Maybe this is the real world.
I haven't read the original book, I think the original book may be more touching, and there should be more details and psychology for the confession and transformation of a person who once escaped. In the movie, I seem to see the old China. When a country falls, the stronger a person is, the more tragic his encounter may be.

The Kite Runner quotes

  • Amir: [explaining Sohrab's presence] You see, General Sahib, my father slept with his servant's wife, and she bore him a son named Hassan. Hassan is dead now. That boy sleeping in the other room is Hassan's son. He's my nephew. That's what you tell people when they ask. And one more thing, General Sahib: you will never again refer to him as "a Hazara boy" in my presence. He has a name, and it's Sohrab.

  • Baba: [as Dr. Starobin examines him] Where are you from?

Dr. Starobin: I grew up in Michigan. Came out here for medical school. Once you get used to that California sunshine...

    Baba: But your family?

Dr. Starobin: My family? We're originally from Russia.

[Baba shoves him away, and is next seen with a different doctor]
