The saddest street

Time shows not too long ago in 2000,
maybe still so
, I never cared about the war I
saw that there used to be streets in the world where
people sold their legs and the children who lost their legs were
hanging
and running on the street

With the war as the background, we saw is a story about brotherhood.
The theme of the film adapted from the novel is not as prominent as the pure film.
There are many, many things that cannot be described but must be mentioned
, but this film is still the best one I have watched recently.

Except for the soundtrack and scenery, the rest of the feeling is average. @2017-01-24 14:48:13

The theme of the novel is the redemption of human nature, while the movie has become a "political propaganda film", which omits many touching details in the novel, and only the first half can be watched. After the protagonist goes to the United States, the plot begins to go wrong. The only thing that supported me after watching the movie was the feeling of the novel, but as a movie, its picture and sound effects are still worthy of recognition

The Kite Runner quotes

  • Amir: [explaining Sohrab's presence] You see, General Sahib, my father slept with his servant's wife, and she bore him a son named Hassan. Hassan is dead now. That boy sleeping in the other room is Hassan's son. He's my nephew. That's what you tell people when they ask. And one more thing, General Sahib: you will never again refer to him as "a Hazara boy" in my presence. He has a name, and it's Sohrab.

  • Baba: [as Dr. Starobin examines him] Where are you from?

Dr. Starobin: I grew up in Michigan. Came out here for medical school. Once you get used to that California sunshine...

    Baba: But your family?

Dr. Starobin: My family? We're originally from Russia.

[Baba shoves him away, and is next seen with a different doctor]
