In Henry's dream, Sam and Lyra's rivalry is almost throughout, but there are only two sets of scenes in the flashback: 1. Reality: Lyra said "no one ever proposed to me", and then Sam's mind flashed back: Sam plays with the ring, with an eye in the window; close-up of the ring. When Sam heard "Proposal," he looked Laila in the eyes and immediately thought of the ring that had just been shoved into dying Henry's hand. Sam's subconscious connected the three, so he had an idea of the woman in front of him. 2. Reality: Sam reacts, then flashes back to Sam's mind: several scenes of Sam pushing down/embracing Lyra; close-up of lips. After subconsciously having an idea, Sam has the normal desires of a healthy adult male: hugging, pushing down. His eyes moved involuntarily to Laila's lips. At the end of the flashback, Sam pretended to be concerned and looked in the direction of the ambulance, but he was actually brewing feelings, and then offered Laila an invitation to "drink coffee". Laila, apparently also influenced by being "proposed" by Henry, agreed. If Henry hadn't reached for the ring, Sam wouldn't have touched the ring and wouldn't have made an invitation. If Henry hadn't proposed to Lila, Lila wouldn't have said to Sam that "no one has ever asked me to marry you" (what do you think when a girl tells you that, and experience it yourself).
So, through unconscious behavior, Henry's wish was fulfilled. Plus, these flashbacks don't seem to appear in Henry's dreams at all. When Henry was kidnapped by an ambulance, the police asked for the name of the first witness, Levy. Henry had no chance to know her name before. However, in Henry's dream, Henry's first line is to ask Sam "Who are you? Where's Dr. Levy". Therefore, it can be boldly speculated: Henry did not die after the rescue of the two failed! Just passed out and started dreaming, aka skipping to the beginning of the movie. On the bridge, Henry said, "You tried to save me but it was too late because I was about to wake up." Then he committed suicide. The dream disappears. It can be understood in this way: in reality, Sam came late, and did not fully rescue Henry, so he was in a coma and dreamed; while in the dream, Sam finally watched Henry drink bullets after unremitting exploration efforts. The reason why the dream disappeared was not that Henry died, but that he woke up. With the cooperation of the two Sams, Henry was finally rescued. This coincides with what the real Laila says at the end of "We can do a little more".
