Peter Pan and Spirited Away

There is an article in "The Edge of Love and Pain" about Peter Pan, the title is "The Child Who Sorrows Forever", I watched the movie "Peter Pan" recently, I thought Peter Pan was not sad, he could fly freely, and there was Sanssouci Island, there are pirates fighting with him, and there are people he likes.
But why he didn't want to grow up, I didn't find the answer. I think either the childhood is so beautiful, and he will always be in a happy childhood. Either he grew up in a world that scared and worried him, and he would hide in his childhood and not face it. Maybe everyone thought about growing up quickly, or didn't want to grow up, so the author created Peter Pan to be the elf of those who "don't want to grow up", guarding the worry-free island in their hearts.
When I read "The Edge of Love and Pain", I was in high school. Although I can't read Xiao Si's book now, I have to say that at that time his book just matched the sorrow of youth. At that time, I often missed the restrained but full, happy and kind-hearted me when I was young; I was often overwhelmed or full of mistakes in the face of the throbbing of youth; I often forgot my interest in knowledge and my vision for the future.
I stagnated there for a long time and didn't grow.

Qianxun was reluctant to part with her old school, but she still had to move to a new city with her parents. If the past is happy, you will always be reluctant to give up. Growth is the wheel to a new home. You always have to leave the familiar and warm place and head for the unknown.
The steamed buns that Bai Long had enchanted for Qian would be full of energy after eating, and Qian ate so hard that she burst into tears. She has to cry bravely and rescue her parents who have been turned into pigs.
From the card in the old clothes, she knew that her original name was Chihiro, and Bai Long told her that once her name was taken away, she would never be able to find her way home. Although the past must always be gone, the past self still has to be remembered.
When Chihiro saw the "faceless man" for the first time on the bridge, she was scared and curious about him, and later sympathized with him. The faceless man is lonely, and Chihiro treats her with respect and friendliness. He gave Qianxun a lot of gold, which Qianxun didn't need.
Chihiro gave the "Rotten God" a bath in earnest, trying her best to contain her inner fear. She found a barb on the "Rotten God". Everyone pulled out the barb. The bicycles and other industrial wastes were pulled out. The "River God" finally restore the original appearance.
Chihiro finally rescued her parents, and when she said goodbye to Bai Long, Bai Long said that they would meet again, definitely. I hope this is true, after a weak little girl, with her courage, sincerity, enthusiasm, kindness, and through so much, I hope the world will not deceive her.

Unlike Peter Pan, Chihiro can't choose whether to grow up, so she faces hardships and grows up naturally with love and courage.

Peter Pan quotes

  • [Hook asked Tiger Lily if she had seen Peter Pan, and she replies with a foreign language, and then spits at him]

Smee: She says sorry, but no.

  • Mrs. Darling: There are many different kinds of bravery. There's the bravery of thinking of others before one's self. Now, your father has never brandished a sword nor fired a pistol, thank heavens. But he has made many sacrifices for his family, and put away many dreams.

Michael: Where did he put them?

Mrs. Darling: He put them in a drawer. And sometimes, late at night, we take them out and admire them. But it gets harder and harder to close the drawer... He does. And that is why he is brave.
