Looking at the whole film, apart from the slight permeation of the principle that extremes must reverse, and the male protagonist is more eye-catching, there is no any nutritional value.
What does the ending explain, is it talking about the disappearance of all senses? In the end, what is the only thing left with the sense of touch? Are you saying that the essential meaning of life is nothing but a sexual touch? Are you saying that when everything is meaningless, all that remains is love? But director, are you interpreting love? How do you feel that it is more about sex, the company when you are lonely, the comfort when you are hungry, the support when you are in distress, and the snuggling when you are afraid. It's a far cry from true love without me.
A theme with great potential was screwed up.
