Violence aside, this is still a cult that is obscure and beautiful

I am relatively numb to violence, which may be the reason why I watch more European and American pure blood movies. So I hope that when I watch this film, I can see the essence through violence. But to be honest, I was really confused when I saw the ending... The disappearance of the wound on Ah Yi's head, the change in Uncle's expression, the hanging of Uncle, and the brief glance of the unknown young man at the end... enough chaos.
First of all, I searched on the Internet, and learned the opinions of a few moviegoers who were not confused by violence, and came to a fact: Uncle is the boss who disappeared, and he and Yuanyuan are lovers. When his own violence could no longer satisfy Yuanyuan, Uncle absconded, had plastic surgery, and cultivated Hajime, hoping that Hajime could give Yuanyuan the greatest satisfaction.
I read the ending carefully again, and analyzed the details in a forward-looking way: Yuan Yuan was not killed by Hajime, but died in an illusion, and there was another cause of death. And Uncle's expression became serious when he saw that there was no wound on Yuan Yuan's face, indicating that he understood that Yuan Yuan was not killed by Aichi. At this time, Uncle looked towards the roof, and the camera switched to Xiaowu fighting and kicking, and at this time only Xiaowu and Ah Yi were left on the roof, indicating that Ah Yi was completely incompetent at this time. This shows that the only person who killed Yuan Yuan was Xiao Wu. Uncle found out this fact, his handbag fell because of panic, and he was panicking about the germination of an extremely violent seed.
After the appearance of Yuanyuan, the wide-open mouth was foreshadowing what happened.
After Uncle was hanged, a group of elementary school students passed by. At this time, the unknown young man did not appear on the screen. A crow flew by, the camera turned, and an unknown young man appeared, looking back. This is the second time the crow has appeared in the film. The first time it appeared was when the meat that Xiao Wu held in his hand was taken away by the crow. Then it can be understood that the crow is a hint of Xiao Wu, and the unknown young man is Xiao Wu who grew up, and Uncle was hanged by Xiao Wu, which corresponds to Uncle's panic before.
This is a dazzling film, and the obscurity at the end also leaves room for people to reminisce. But when it comes to the theme alone, there is really nothing profound about this movie... Of course, the theme is not the only one of the movie. Generally speaking, this is not a bad movie that is thrown away after seeing it...
In fact, what touched me in the film was poor Hajime. He was an extremely innocent child, so innocent that when his so-called older brother pointed a gun at him, he would keep muttering "why" and kneel on the ground crying. Uncle took advantage of his innocence and deprived him of his soul... I wonder if director Takashi Miike had the intention of making trouble for Ah Yiming while expressing the distorted "love".

  • Kakihara: There's no love in your violence.

  • Ichi: Did... you really want me to rape you, Miss Tachibana?

Karen: Oh, no. I didn't want it from you. I wanted it from anyone. The only thing that can help me now is despair.
