What if we redefine art? Authorities often tell us that aesthetics is a common attribute of art of any kind and carrier. Even though aesthetics vary widely and are extremely subjective, beauty is not the only but one of the absolute standards of art. Individual artistic tastes can vary widely. Those who play rock hate listening to popular customs, those who listen to folk music say that rock and roll is angry, and pop music can also think that folk music sounds poor... But probably no one thinks that out-of-tune is better than in-tune, because out-of-tune Singing does not meet the beauty that the mainstream definition of art demands. But why can't we put aside the so-called aesthetics of art, and simply take comforting people's hearts as the basic appeal of art? It can be sensually pleasing to the recipient, or it can simply be soothing to the creator. As the out-of-tune diva said on her deathbed people may say I couldn't sing, but nobody can say I didn't sing. The so-called product of beauty under the talent of very few people should be pure love, even if only you are comforted and redeemed in the process of creation, even if it is not beautiful, it is art. Art is not noble, life is inherently mediocre, and the comfort art can give us is only to make us feel that when we enjoy art, we are a little bit higher than the mediocre self in a mediocre life. A little bit is enough.
