A bit of a brain-burning movie. The male protagonist Singh always sees hell-like scenes, seeing people like the devil chasing him, and always dreams of the scenes of living with his ex-wife and children, as well as the past on the battlefield. Singh was deeply reminiscent of and the pain of being chased by the devil. It wasn't until he encountered comrades with the same problem that Singh thought of what the army did to them during the Vietnam War, but his comrades died in a car explosion. Singer felt that this was done deliberately. At the funeral of his comrades-in-arms, Singh also met other comrades with the same problem and decided to sue the government together. However, the prosecution was very difficult, the comrades withdrew withdrew, and he became fighting in Thailand somehow, and there was also the kidnapping of the man in black. The last chemist found Singh and told him the truth was that the government did chemical experiments on them in order to make them brave and combative, causing them to kill each other. Singer returned to his ex-wife's house after learning the truth and saw his dead son. Under the guidance of his missing son, he walked towards the light. When everyone thought this was Singer’s illusion again, but Singer took the fear of death calmly according to the doctor’s instructions, so he could illusion something peaceful and beautiful, the screen switched to the battlefield again. Singh died peacefully on the operating table. It turns out that all these were his dreams before death, and he was at peace in the last moments of the dream. At the end of the film, subtitles are used to reveal that soldiers did chemical experiments during the Vietnam War. "A Floating Life in Another World" uses a weird storyline and a large number of dream fragments to guide everyone to the question of whether Singer is dead or not. It is a suspenseful film, but at the end it exposes war and government crimes.

Jacob Singer: Dead? No. I just hurt my back, I'm not dead.

Evil Doctor: What are you, then?

Jacob Singer: [Jacob quietly grins] I'M ALIVE!

Evil Doctor: Then what are you doing here?

    Jacob Singer: I don't know.

Jacob Singer: [crying] This isn't happening.

    Evil Doctor: What is happening?

Jacob Singer: Get me out of here.

Evil Doctor: There is no out of here. You've been killed, don't you remember?

Jacob Singer: [an eyeless doctor approaches Jacob and hold its long needle and positions the needle and shoves it into Jacob's head and blood comes out] AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Jacob Singer: Am I dying, Louie?
