A masterpiece about human nature

The cruelty of war is not only that it will bring blood and blood to people, but also that it can summon spiritual demons. A Jew who has lost his freedom and rights, how can he survive in the harsh and gloomy concentration camp, protect a small group of people around him with his humble strength, endure the extreme mental pressure of losing his best friend, complete the his resistance war. Only the strong will to survive can support him to the end. I think this will of human origin is the theme of this film.

This is the first time I've clearly felt that a film should be made longer rather than shorter; there's a Bridge on the River Kwai-esque unresolvable conflict in it, just the opposite of the Bridge on the River Kwai
