I feel that this is a relatively easy-to-accept film among Luis Buñuel's works. He is good at using surrealistic expressions, aiming at the middle class of that era. At first, it was to admire Catherine Deneuve. This French woman is so beautiful, elegant and noble, and this brothel is not conventional because of her. The "ice beauty" is absolutely remarkable. The performance in the details in this film is a little bit unnatural and casual. But the overall performance is revealing, and there is a degree of relaxation. If you watch it, it's a good movie.
