Alienation of Industrial Society

After reading the comments, I agree with one thing: my heart is broken.
Everything was fine until the magician started meeting the little girl. Although the magician hit a wall, in the small village of Scotland, he still got applause and banknotes. And the admiration of a little girl.
Now I understand the meaning of the last photo. But I didn't see the fatherly love of a magician. On the contrary, with the development of modern society, interpersonal relationships began to become alienated, and people appeared alienated in society. As Kafka says in his novels, as Marx says in Capital.
As Kafka describes in "The Metamorphosis", "The Hungry Artist", the relationship between people gradually becomes alienated. And this kind of change is produced under the industrial society, capitalism. Marx said alienation is the worker becoming irrelevant to his product, himself, or his own labor.
The magician in this film, just started acting, I think it is still what he loves. Of course, he has always been one with his magic show. And this integration is recognized and appreciated in the countryside of a non-industrial society (in this case, a small village in Scotland).
And entering Edinburgh, which has been capitalized, gradually, what he does has only become a commodity, he is no longer a person, but a commodity. For example, to wash the car, for example, to do a window show. These are not things that he has internalized, but the magic that he loves should be one with him.

I don't know if this is the right understanding.
It's just the feeling of alienation that has been in the air from beginning to end, making people feel sad. Under the social trend, people can only survive by turning their labor into commodities, and only by separating their output from themselves. From the perspective of human beings, how sad it is.
But as Marx said, this is a historical necessity. isn't it?

The magician walks down step by step, every step is heartbreaking

This era can still have this kind of film that can be supported by the picture and the soundtrack. It has nothing to do with good or bad. It represents a kind of memory and a kind of humanistic care. The more happiness left to the world, the only one left for me. This is the greatness of father's love! It is enough to make the Hollywood animation of the assembly line ashamed! ★★★★★

European animation makes people sad, American animation makes people laugh, Japanese animation makes people warm, Chinese animation makes people despair...
