The work of Ghost Slayer is about the battle between humans and ghosts, or the battle between humans and "inhumans".
There are two enemies in this theatrical version, one is a ghost who spy on the hearts of others, exploiting the weakness of others' desire for beautiful dreams, and fabricating and insulting others without authorization; coexisting ghosts.
Its opponents are the protagonist who is gentle, loves his family, and has the courage to face reality; the other is a big brother who takes responsibility, takes care of his teammates' family, and is not afraid of sacrifice at critical moments.
The biggest advantage of this theatrical version is that it intuitively shapes the conflict between these two values: whether it is toying with others, cursing the strength of others while failing miserably in the end, facing the reality with the protagonist, breaking away from the illusion, and touching others with tenderness comparison of endings;
I still kept shouting about my strength, shouting to make the recognized strong man into a ghost, but I ran away in a hurry when I was about to lose, and my eldest brother never gave up, taught my mother, belongs to the strong, and protects others. In the end comparison,
All further strengthen the values of this work: the surface is to fight against inhumans, but the core praises the greatness of the beautiful qualities of human beings.
Family love, gentleness, responsibility, etc., are precisely such qualities. The inheritance and persistence of the Ghost Slayer team from generation to generation, extending to today and even the future, are just like the history of mankind. It is by virtue of this quality that human society is driven forward.
Be proud of yourself as a human being, and you must work hard to pass on this fire.
Ps: I don't know if I'm old, but I still read the comics in advance. Although I was more than moved by the scene of the big brother in the second half, I didn't "tear" much. On the contrary, it was the scene where the protagonist said goodbye to his family, and the youngest brother wanted to keep his brother even if he fell. I cried when I watched it... I really hope that it will finally be connected to the one that saw the elder brother's father and younger brother. The tear-jerking effect should be stronger. Still looking forward to the second season~
