It was the first time I watched a movie of this kind of real restoration of battlefield images, and when I saw the smiles facing the camera and the cruel pictures, I really realized that this is the real war. The narrative method adopts time flow, starting from the outbreak of the war, young people join the army full of enthusiasm, recruit training, leave the UK to go to the frontline battlefield, approach the battlefield step by step, the last artillery fire and bayonet charge to the end of the war, Nov 11, 1918. Unspeakable shock, devastated battlefield, soldiers in various ways of death, dense shell craters, continuous barbed wire. There was a constant voice: turning around to see that the comrades beside him fell down, stepping on the corpse and moving forward, a soldier lost an arm and a leg, and he could only make him painless without hesitation. A good movie has a realistic narrative and a sublimated summary of the theme. The soldiers on both sides began to think about the meaning of this war. The soldiers found that they had become worthless people after being discharged from the army. Friends around them did not understand the war and did not think they were heroes. They seemed to be forgotten. In the end, I found out that this movie actually has a 3D restored version. I regret that I didn't take the time to go to the cinema at that time. "Ready Player One", "Avatar" and many other wonderful movies didn't go to the cinema to watch. It's a pity. When a movie is released in the future, you must read the rating and watch the trailer, and don't miss these wonderful movies.
