I went to watch it on a whim because I saw the movie clips and felt that I hadn’t seen any genre-themed movies, so driven by strong curiosity, I clicked on Youku.

Maybe I didn't understand it. I couldn't understand the handling of the male and female protagonists in many details, and I felt that I couldn't stand the details of the logical brain.

From beginning to end, I suspected Philip of cheating, and of course the ending was disappointing. He really didn't cheat, he carried the personal image of a good man, but he never imagined that he thought his wife was a relapse of mental illness, but she was a real mental cheat.

Maybe the detail I've missed is that Philip's love for Rebecca is paranoid, not understanding? From Rebecca's point of view, it was her husband who decided that her mental illness had relapsed and that she was not understood in her life. Maybe she felt that the person who slept with her during the long night was not her soul mate. But after careful scrutiny, she also frankly confessed her mental history, and said that Philip accompanied her to spend the most difficult days, and Philip understood her. I don't understand now, because she didn't bluntly say that she and others have formed a community of consciousness. That is, lack of effective communication.

I think Philip was wrong. He should have believed that his wife was in good spirits and guided him patiently, instead of assuming that everything was due to illness. Their essential reason, then, is the emotional bias that occurs, the lack of trust.

In addition, it is to listen to the slander of villains. If Philip hadn't listened to those two words from other women, or asked Rebecca for an explanation, maybe the ending of the story wouldn't have turned abruptly.

In general, it is a story in which the free will of love breaks through the shackles of family ethics. It cannot be read morally because it cannot be understood.

I think, probably, what the film pursues and wants to express is the fit of the soul in love and the soul mate in life?

It doesn't matter, after all, the probability that two people can become a community of consciousness is less than 1 in 10,000,000. Even if there is, it does not necessarily happen to be a pair of men and women...

At the end of the movie, a close-up shot was specially given, and the hero and heroine escaped and kissed passionately under the sunset on the train. The long shot turns to the leisurely train and steam noise in the snow...

The end.

It's so beautiful! It's too beautiful! Unexpectedly, this is the script written by Joss Whedon in 1992. He used all his work to justify the mad girl, and this time used the whole movie to explain why some girls are mad girls in the eyes of normal people! Chaos is good! PS, Joss not only got Coulson into his own universe, but Coulson's wife Jennifer Grey was also caught! Whedonverse is swelling!

In Your Eyes quotes

  • Rebecca Porter: I don't like Dr. Maynard. He always looks at me like he's trying to guess my weight.

  • Rebecca Porter: Sometimes... Sometimes you just look at everything and it's all just different. Do you know?

Phillip Porter: Yeah, I know. They call that puberty.
