Science dreamer?

Although the plot is a bit cliche, it is still an inspirational and heart-warming little movie to recharge at home in your spare time? ️ Rather than seeing it as an adaptation of a biography, it is better to see it as an adventure fairy tale~

Breakthroughs always require courage, and what is even more rare is how to still not forget the original intention after a major trauma. We explore the world with the persistence of James and the enthusiasm of Amelia; reason and always need to be radical at the same time, in order to achieve great things.

Don't go too deeply into the rationality of the details. It is already a good movie if you can tell a story well. The interlude method of the film will not be too confusing, the background explanation is very clear, the plot is compact, and the excitement and warmth are intertwined. In addition, I was impressed by the scientists who had dreams of literature and art in that era. Who said that nerds couldn't have romantic dreams?

"the sky lies open." / The event itself is great enough, overly provocative, hard-pressing the theme, and counterproductive. / In my limited viewing, this type of film has to be the god of eight-legged writing. Robert Zemeckis is the best. For example, "Walking in the Clouds" looks very good.

The Aeronauts quotes

  • James Glaisher: Newton said that we build too many walls...

Amelia Wren: I don't want to hear it from Newton. I want to hear from you.

James Glaisher: All my life I've found comfort in science. It helps give meaning to the many things we can't control. It brings a degree of order to the chaos that surrounds us. But whilst we may be able to explain the science behind an aureole, or falling snow, it's not possible to account for its beauty. Together we've brought the stars closer.

Amelia Wren: We HAVE brought the stars closer.

  • Arthur Glaisher: Th-These things that people are saying about you, James, don't-don't... don't they hurt?

James Glaisher: I wish it didn't hurt you.
