1. The reason behind the child's rebellion
A mother drove a Mercedes-Benz, stopped on the side of the road, opened the door, took an eight- or nine-year-old child out of the car, and threw it on the side of the road. Then he got into the car, closed the door and started the car, ready to go, of course he was about to go.
Then the child was frightened, and quickly got up and grabbed the car, crying hard, "Mom, mom, mom." But his mother kept ignoring him and kept moving the car forward. This scene was seen by Mr. Fan Deng, who had just finished the speech. He hurriedly asked the assistant to stop the mother's behavior. It was too much.
The assistant knocked on the window of the lady's car and said, "Ma'am, do you know how much harm this will do to the child? If you do this, the child will not feel the unconditional love of the parents. The most terrible thing is that from now on, let the child feel the unconditional love. I always felt that I might be abandoned by my mother."
The result is that after the child reaches puberty, when the child has the ability to resist, he will rebel more strongly. This is why so many children are brought up well before puberty, but after puberty children will slam their parents' doors, turn their faces, have cold wars, and even run away from home.
Many of us will study hard, study hard, and take postgraduate entrance exams in order to get a job, but in fact, which job in life is more important than being a parent, it is too risky to "go to work" to become a parent without studying.
When we become parents without a license, able-bodied children will create a lot of ups and downs for us. If we encounter a "special" angel (autism), it will be even more cruel. Some will lead to tragic tragedy, luck will re-insert the wings of an angel and continue to soar.
2. Another door behind the autistic angel
The movie "Autism History" tells about the unique growth experience of Tian Bao, a child with autism since childhood. This is adapted from the personal autobiography of American animal scientist and doctor of animal husbandry Tempo Grandin.
In 1943, Dr. Kayner, the first to report on autism, reported on 11 children with autism. 6-7 of them were admitted to psychiatric hospitals. This is how the United States treated people with autism in the 1960s. They believed that there was no cure, and that these children could no longer be educated, so they were sent to mental hospitals. But there are still many parents who are reluctant to give up their children and tenaciously treat and educate them.
Autism, also known as autism, is a congenital pervasive developmental disorder that is currently incurable, with an incidence rate of about 1.5%. Because each patient has different characteristics, it is also called autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
They are born socially incompetent, have narrow interests, and have many problem behaviors. They use behaviors such as crying, beating, squatting, shouting, etc. to express their needs. One of their characteristics is stubbornness and a single interest. Among them, some children will have super memory and artistic talent.
Although autism cannot be cured, through correct and timely rehabilitation training, it can be improved to varying degrees, and even some high-functioning children can smoothly integrate into society and start a family.
Tian Bao in the film is lucky, she is a good mother. Tempo was diagnosed with autism by the hospital at the age of 4, which is schizophrenia in children, and may never be able to speak, and there is no fixed therapy.
Therefore, Tianbao's mother tried various methods in her daily life to exercise Tianbao and wanted Tianbao to speak. The process took 11 years, long and painful. In order to allow Tianbao to live like a normal person, her mother sent her to a boarding school.
Fortunately, Tempo met at school, Dr. Carlock, the teacher who helped her open the door to her talent. With the help of the teacher, Tianbao's life opened one door after another, and she was successfully admitted to the university.
By chance, Tian Bao came to visit her aunt's farm, and she began to develop a strong interest in livestock. So later, she made her own "squeeze machine" in college to calm down her nervousness, which came from the association of locking up cows on the farm. Many autistic patients use their own methods to resolve their emotions, many of which cannot be understood by ordinary people.
Therefore, they are often excluded, ridiculed, despised, etc. Tianbao also graduated in such a learning environment. Tianbao uses image diagrams to interpret his unique understanding of the world. For example, when it comes to shoes, Trimble's mind will show the various shoes that parents wear every day, the number of shoes, and the advertisements and designs about shoes.
Another example is two horses of the same size, but in the direction design space, they become visual effects of different latitudes and sizes. Tianbao used the designed spatial vision to show other students different results.
And when she lay down and studied and observed from the perspective of a "cow", she found that light, shadow, reflection, and clockwise and counter-clockwise designs all had a great impact on the cow's mood.
In the end, she used this different memory, thinking and statistics, as well as super logical thinking, to make herself an amazing scholar.
Tianbao learned about the world in her unique way, and bravely opened every door for herself again and again, until she spoke out her personal experience at the autism seminar and expressed it through singing.
3. They need the respect and care of more people
However, in reality, few autistic patients can be discovered and unearthed their hidden talents like Tempo. Only a small fraction of the many autistic people have extraordinary skills in areas such as math, music, memory, and technology.
The vast majority of autistic patients are not geniuses, and their intelligence is lower than ordinary people. They need more education and guidance in order to grow up healthily.
In June 2019, the graduation ceremony of Carmel High School in the United States was held. At that time, there was a special graduate named Jack Higgins. When he took the stage, he covered his ears with his hands, and the audience was unusually quiet, because the principal told everyone not to applaud and cheer in advance. Because Jack is severely autistic, he is very sensitive to noise. The classmates in the audience were silent, and they stood up collectively to express their congratulations to Jack.
Their small actions have warmed the hearts of countless people. Because they protect the dignity of an autistic person, and also a respect for this special group!
On November 17, 2019, Parker won the World Cube Championship in Paris. On the stage of Rubik's Cube, Parker has become a top Rubik's cube player standing on top of the world, but he actually has another identity, Parker has always been an autistic patient. He has autism, but after coming into contact with the Rubik's Cube, he began to communicate with people. He also showed an amazing talent in the Rubik's Cube, and maintained several world records on the Rubik's Cube.
A lot of people think that people with autism are mental cancer patients and they are fools, which is a very big social misunderstanding. Because they are capable, they are just too focused on one thing and close themselves to the outside world. Their creativity and memory are surprising ordinary people in some respects!
According to research, two groups of 26 gene arrangements of autistic patients are reversed, but the reversed gene arrangement will produce talents in special fields, such as painting, mathematics, music, etc., which are higher than normal people's talents.
4. Causes of autism
In 1977, science finally discovered the cause of autism. British scientists found 21 pairs of twins. They found that identical twins have exactly the same genes. If one has autism, the probability of the other child suffering from autism is 60%-100%, the probability is very high.
If they are fraternal twins, half of their genes are the same, so the chance of developing autism is 5%-10%. It is also much higher than the chance of random genes; and if immediate family members are affected, they are also prone to the disease.
These sciences prove that the occurrence of autism is obviously related to genes, but at the same time tell us that they may not be a simple black and white relationship like other mental diseases.
In addition to being related to genes, children with autism actually have a certain relationship with the acquired growth environment.
The acquired family environment has unfavorable factors for the child, and the stimulation is too negative. If it continues for too long, the child will shut down the nervous system for self-protection, and it will easily evolve into autism.
If the child is very anxious, shows a lot of bad behavior, hyperactivity and can't concentrate, the child himself is dealing with the inner anxiety in another way, and it evolves into ADHD.
In fact, whether it is autism or ADHD, the child's growth environment is very important. They need more than ordinary parents' tenacious education and guidance, so that they can grow up healthily.
Autistic people can try and use areas they can focus on, such as drawing, music. Explore and perceive the world in their own unique way.
Autistic patients, they just haven't found the soil suitable for their own growth, like rice, planted in the desert.
