Always kind and optimistic!

I watched a 97-year old movie "The Catastrophe of Mr. Bean" on a boring Saturday. When British humor encounters an American plot, it is still very sparkling. The whole process makes people hahaha, especially the 4D movie. I laughed until my stomach burst! The famous painting press conference satirized the upper-class personnel's attitude of pretending to be B. I don't know how to pretend to understand (=_=) It seems that pretending to be B is a human commonality. What makes me feel is that no matter how much trouble Bean causes, he can always resolve it in a peculiar way in the end. Bean’s movies probably want to tell us that stupid people have stupid blessings, and God loves us stupid children. Always be kind and optimistic about life, right?

Looking back on this now, I found that many expressions were too exaggerated, and the sound like a humming pig made me nauseous.

The first Mr Bean I watched. Was it on a movie station at the time? I was deeply impressed by the world famous painting of Whistler's mother, especially the few strokes that Bean added later... Maybe this is all vulgar and funny, but in my heart it is an indelible classic.

Bean quotes

  • David Langley: Doesn't it take, like, five hours?

    Mr. Bean: ...not... necessarily

  • David Langley: I must admit, over the time you've been here, certain... suspicions have begun to gather in my mind. I'm going to be frank here... are you a doctor?

    Mr. Bean: ummm...

    [shakes head]

David Langley: okay number two, do you know anything about art. I mean... let me see... was Leonardo Da Vinci a famous American basketball player?

    [sniggers]

David Langley: [Bean looks confused, David's face drops]

    Mr. Bean: ...yes

    David Langley: ...I see

[brings his hand up to his face]
