May you be sunshine, bright and not sad

"Little Boy" is a war movie that I was very moved after watching it. Looking at war from the perspective of a child is a highlight of the film.

The little boy originally had a good family, but because of the war, his father joined the army. During my father's absence, I came into contact with a man from Japan, who was not as he was portrayed on TV - heinous, a group of inhuman war lunatics. On the contrary, he is a very kind man. After a few things, the little boy accepted the Japanese.

After a magic show, when a little boy was "using magic", an earthquake came and the mountain was moved. He thought it was the power of magic. He had the so-called idea: to pull his father back by magic. This is a joke in the eyes of adults, but he takes it seriously, "using magic" at the seaside every day, and as a result, we all know that it will not really be pulled back.

Years passed, and in 1945 Japan surrendered unconditionally. This time, his father really came back, and I couldn't help crying watching the scene of the family embracing each other and weeping. Reunion after the turmoil is rare.

The film does not greatly exaggerate a depressing atmosphere, but a clean expression, telling a story in a straightforward and simple way, a war in the eyes of a child, a story of reunion in the eyes of a child. This kind of story is actually more touching and more heartwarming.

May you be sunshine, bright and not sad. I hope you can open Youku when you are free, watch the movie "Little Boy", and experience the warmth and emotion.

The energy is positive, and I am unable to comment on the three views. I wish you neon and American friendship from generation to generation...

After the Pearl Harbor incident, strong anti-Japanese sentiment spread in the small town of O’Hare in the United States. The most unpopular one in town met by chance for friends, and completed the list of beliefs in order to get his father home. Watching such a children's movie, I was soaked with tears several times, and the warm and kindness permeated it with a hit. The little boy succeeded in moving objects in the air three times, and the stage earthquake and atomic bomb were miraculously touching. May this little boy with superpowers on the hills and the sea remain innocent forever.

Little Boy quotes

  • Fr. Crispin: If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move the mountain. If we can move a mountain, nothing will be impossible for us. Not even with ending this war... and having our love one back.

Ben Eagle Narrator: [thinking of the magician he had seen] I already knew someone who could move a mountain. I wondered if the source of his powers was the mustard seed.

  • [first lines]

Ben Eagle Narrator: [narrating] This is O'Hare, California. Back then it was nothing more than a sleepy fishing village, with a hill at the end of Main Street. Like you see in postcards. My story takes place on the home front, in the midst of World War II. That's me, the little fella.

    Photographer: [motioning to the youngest]

    Little Boy: Closer?

Freddy Fox: [ribbing him] Stop causing trouble, you midget.

Ben Eagle Narrator: Nobody in that town liked me much.

    Photographer: One, two, three.

    [flash]

Ben Eagle Narrator: I was eight years old. But the story really starts the day I met my dad. My only friend. My partner.

    Nurse Barbara: He's a boy!

    James Busbee: Wow! He's so...

    Nurse Barbara: What? Little?

James Busbee: Well, he'll grow. Right?
