I have a few questions about the above passage:
1. Gabe asked Zach why he didn't tell him and said he didn't mind at all. What he's talking about here is that Zach didn't tell him that he was gay, or that he was with his brother ?
2. Gabe said that it was my brother who was outrageous. What does Gabe mean here?
3. Why did Zach say sorry after hearing Gabe say Shaun is weird?
My own understanding is this:
G asked Z why didn't you tell me that you were gay, Z pretended to be stupid, G asked if you always knew you were gay? Z did not want to continue the topic at this time and said "Seriously dude". G felt Z's resistance, so he restrained himself, and then changed his way to continue the topic: In fact, my brother is outrageous. Here I think G is trying to tell Z that he not only knows that Z is gay but also knows about Z and S (he is not trying to expose anything, from the perspective of the plot, he just tried his best to let Z know that he really doesn't mind everything all this, and want to continue the conversation with this veiled statement).

I understand Z's reaction here because he thinks that his family environment is very different from that of the two brothers SG. He thinks that a gentleman like SG can't understand the difficult predicament he is in, so he thinks that G doesn't need to change anything.
