A man only made in America

OJ: Made in America is truly a perfect name for this man's glamorous sports career and his dramatic life. Only American culture can create this kind of icon and the tragedy. Such a polarizing figure to see, a handsome athlete turned into a chubby greasy man , he has every quality but the courage and faith to stand up from the past. It narrated how a sophisticated egoist lost himself in fame while underlying its a turbulent relationship with race in LA over the late 20th century. Not only between white and black, but yellow and black(the Korean shooting case). It's quite funny to realize many black men who are considered being attractive and successful are sort of whitenized, isn't it?

  • Marcia Clark - Interviewee: O.J. Simpson? Uh. I never heard of him until 1994. I was never into sports, and I couldn't even tell you what game he played. I thought he was a has-been.
