I have been exposed to the Huang Feihong series since I was a child through the movie channel, and I have only watched the third and fourth parts. Now I know that there are five parts in this series. The first three are Jie Ge and the last two are Zhuo Ge. Lin and the latter two Jingying. After watching the first one today, I went back to compare the three or four I watched before. I feel that the first one was not so smooth on the whole. The two-hour movie story is a bit long, maybe I am used to the usual one and a half hours. Hong Kong's classic kung fu movie, so I personally feel that this is a flaw in this one. But after all, it is the opening work, and the background of the characters in the story should be clearly explained, and it is also understandable that Director Xu's good intentions to pave the way for the later work.
The plot of this film is delicate and complete, and the action scenes are classics, with the characteristics of a pioneering work. However, because the plot is a bit lengthy, and I personally think that it is also because there are too many scenes for a few minor characters, such as Ah Kuan, A Rong, etc., which directly leads to the imperfect effect of the whole movie after watching. I have fast-forwarded many places. If you compare this with the three or four that followed, or the Iron Horse Liu, I still prefer the latter. But if fans want to meet the completeness of the plot of this series of movies, it is still worth recommending to everyone. thanks
