The film is the final chapter in the director's "Life Trilogy" about human nature. The film has no linear narrative and consists of 39 scenes. The camera follows the footsteps of Sam and Jonathan, a pair of itinerant businessmen who sell funny toys, as they go door-to-door selling goods, like a tour guide leading the audience through different places and different groups of people.
