little girl

Real and scary.

Certain experiences our brains naturally beautify, leaving behind what we thought were sweet and beautiful memories. And what we are shaped by our experience is evidence-based, just to see if we can face the truth. The growth of a little girl is full of traps. The person who trusts and is friendly for a while may be the least well-meaning person. Even if the brain is tempted by words, the body and instinct still resist vomiting and fever.

Maybe some people think that it is better to keep the truth buried forever and keep the good memories. For me, if I can say that I am lucky, it is worth saying that it is the girl who has two independent phone calls and now has a person who can accompany her for a lifetime. Let her face the truth. Now that she has faced the truth, she can reconcile with herself, the hurt, indulgent self who hates wedding banquets and children.

The sense of powerlessness is deep, and what can be done is too limited. Praying for a better tomorrow? I don't find it useful, I can only comfort myself.

"My Dialogue with Me" is not an inquiry and recall, but a continuation of a psychological process from an equal perspective. In any case, the dimness and ambiguity of the 13-year-old are unreal and unreliable. The hurt and discomfort that was so suppressed and hidden made a part of her soul stay forever at that age of loss of protection.

    What a suffocating true story

The Tale quotes

  • Jennifer: Don't you think it's a little cult-like? I mean, I didn't think it at the time, but now in retrospect? You know, the whole group thing. Worshiping pain, endurance, it's a bit religious, don't you think?

Mrs. G: Really... really, Jenny?... I expected so much more of you.

  • Jenny at 13: I'm the hero of this story, NOT the victim. They fell apart, I didn't.
