homosexuality

The film explores the interpretation of bible in depth. But there is no particularly clear point to the essence of homosexuality: congenital. This is the source of the debate on all "homosexuality is acceptable" propositions.

The film mentions that "I always knew he was different" on the side points to this, but it's still not deep enough. The film is too emotional to win. But as long as it can't be solved theoretically, it's always justified to oppose homosexuality.

There is another small detail. The film uses the father's mouth to say a common-sense error "animals know how to find the opposite sex". This erroneous statement is often used to support the proposition that "homosexuality is an acquired choice, not a biological nature, and goes against the laws of nature". In fact, there are homosexuals among animals. I don't know why a 2009 film has such a common sense error. Even if this is to portray the father's incomprehension of homosexuality, it should be corrected in a later episode. Otherwise, some ignorant audiences will consolidate their ignorance.

A very good friend of mine, at first, rejected homosexuality to the extreme. Then he suddenly watched TV one day and mentioned that there are homosexuals in animals, and he suddenly became enlightened.

Comrades, when defending yourself in the future, grasp the essence of the problem and avoid nonsense.

Homosexuality can often test a person’s ideology the most. When you are in a religious family, it becomes a rugged thorny road; the hateful thing about religion is that it makes an adult lose himself and has no exploration of all things in the world. Spirit, all cognition is limited to a literary novel handed down from the era of slavery; the reason why it is shocking is that when you realize that there is a mistake, your own son has been killed by yourself.

Prayers for Bobby quotes

  • Mary Griffith: I won't have a gay son.

Bobby Griffith: Then mom, you don't have a son.

    Mary Griffith: Fine.

  • Mary Griffith: To all the Bobbys and Janes out there, I say these words to you as I would my own precious children. Please don't give up hope on life, or yourselves. You're very special to me, and I'm working very hard to make this life a better and safer place for you to live in. Promise me you'll keep trying. Bobby gave up on love, I hope you won't. You're always in my thoughts.
