The first time I saw this movie, I started to learn Russian in my freshman year. After a simple passage, my life at that time was also very simple like a blank sheet of paper. Basically, I watched this movie for the purpose of learning a foreign language, and I didn't feel any special emotion.
The second time I saw this film, I have been studying Russian for six years and lived in Moscow, Russia for three years. I have experienced a lot in life, and naturally feel more emotional.
Like the heroine, I am of average background, from a small county. After hard work, I was able to go to Moscow to study. The Lenin Library in the movie is also where I used to study. Every time I study there I always think of the heroine. I also felt like I was trying to change my own destiny.
The heroine is really inspirational. She takes her children to study, gets admitted to university, and gets promoted. She is considered a winner in life.
When you meet love, you have the courage to pursue it. Too bad I don't like her crying and compromising at the end, I don't think it should be. However, the film reflects the hearts of many strong women, who really need to love and be loved. In any case, it is a personal pursuit.
Work hard, Moscow doesn't believe in tears, Shenzhen doesn't believe in tears, only by working hard can we go all the way up.
