Hail, Prime-Tribute to Leader

Last night before going to bed, I remembered watching a movie "Hitler is Back" recommended by the recent post bar. Friends who are interested should go and watch it. It is a pretty good comedy movie.

Hitler, who has traveled through the end of the film until now, said to reporters who questioned him: "People choose me because part of me is like them." A question that must be faced is, is it true that as long as the evil meets our wishes, some of us will follow suit and even wave the banner for the collapse of our own reason?

When Hitler, who has traveled to the present, became familiar with the environment in Germany, he was still able to cleverly take advantage of people’s inequality of rich and poor, social unemployment, and migrant populations to grab the people’s trust and admiration for him. In the history of qualitative crime, a brand new black tower belonging to the modern era was established. Why does he always succeed?

In the interviews conducted by Hitler and his accompanying reporters in various parts of Germany, the interviewees were depressed and even angry at the insignificance and weakness of their own social and political participation. The social unemployment and Middle East immigration issues reflected in the film are indeed regional political problems that must be resolved as soon as possible in Germany and Europe as a whole. However, it will be even more difficult if social unemployment and Middle Eastern immigration are completely resolved. In a situation where most people generally lack the ability and awareness to participate in problem-solving, the human mind can easily become an appendage of authority. People yearn for totalitarianism and hope to see drastic reforms. It is easy to vent their disappointment into the environment outside of themselves, which will cause tension between different races. Hitler was not a crazy anti-Semitic from the beginning, he was only an expression and result of extreme social emotions, and his characteristics that seemed to meet people’s psychological expectations made him in a democratic environment. The election came to power.

The ideal political environment we have always remembered is nothing more than two points: democracy and freedom. It is the characteristics of democracy and freedom that give the possibility of totalitarian politics. Our middle school textbooks also stated that the definition of democracy depends on the choice of the majority. But what if the choice of the majority is to kill and destroy? This evil and dangerous thinking can spread hard to stop on the soil of freedom, until an extreme right attitude becomes the unanimous choice of a country.

So I wonder, is it true that our generation has failed the essence of democracy and freedom?

Our ancestors created the concepts of democracy and freedom not to satisfy selfish desires, but to balance social forces and promote human progress. But every time turmoil occurs for hundreds of years, we have never believed in communication and cooperation. We would rather believe that it is a method used by mediocre people to delay time and evade responsibility, and when we have more than human beings in ancient times When we have more freedom to create possibilities, have we taken advantage of this possibility? We seem to be more willing to indulge in enjoyment, avoid tempering, and present a fluke mentality that nothing matters to ourselves. The more such indulgence, the easier it is for one's own mind to be shaken under totalitarian provocation. Instead of waiting for the result of a long and slow transformation, it is better to pick up a gun and fight the enemy.

Our education has failed. It has indeed created one heroic myth from all walks of life, but it has never been realized to the extent of most people. The political future must be decided by the destiny of the majority and realized by the wisdom of the majority. Many people I have met have expressed dissatisfaction with reality and despair of change. They hope for change, but they are easy to escape. This is the breeding ground for all totalitarian violence.

When I watch the film, I can’t help but applaud Hitler’s wonderful speech. I don’t hate the Jews, but I long for change. I long for our society to be better shaped. Long for our attention to society is not always transformed into A sigh. So it's not that the devil betrayed us, but we took refuge in the devil.
