Looking for Neverland

In the distant South Pacific, there used to be Nemo Island, also called "Dr. Jack Island". On the island lived 11-year-old Nim Robinson, her father Jack Robinson, and her friends. Serge Friday-a superb sea lion, and the great Galileo-this Mr./Miss Pelican can easily fly in the ocean with a tool bag, obviously much greater than the human Galileo, at least The human Galileo did not save anyone's life. Basically, this is the resident "human" population on the island. Oh, I almost forgot, there's also little friend Fred, it's a good lizard.
Sun, beach, waves, although there is no cactus, no old captain (well, there was a disgusting old captain who wanted to develop beach tourism), and there was no mother Nim, but life was still very pleasant. Unexpectedly, Jack was caught in a big storm when he went out to sea. What should Robinson do? She can only ask for help from the great hero in her mind, the adventure king Alex Love in the book, but she did not expect that this Alexandra is actually an aunt with a phobia of going out... The island, the clever animal friends, the cute and brave little Robinson, and the great hero in the book, it’s okay! So all you have to do is sit steadily and prepare for the popcorn. It is best to hug your "Little Robinson" and watch it happily as if you were visiting a zoo.
Looking at it, you slowly seem to be able to feel the blowing of the sea breeze, the sound of seabirds, and the caress of the waves. Some blunt things gradually melted in the dark. All the dreams about Robinson, the memories of his father's warm hands, and the search for a Neverland were all satisfied in this one and a half hour.
Welcome to the island of Nimes, the island of dreams.

    Are all writers so different?

Nim's Island quotes

  • Alexandra Rover: Dear Nim, are you Jack's research associate? Jack wrote of a volcano where you live. Are you familiar with it? Sincerely, Alex Rover. Send.

Alex Rover: What are you doing, Alexandra?

Alexandra Rover: Research. Go. Go. Go away. Leave me alone.

Alex Rover: You don't mean that. You love me.

Alexandra Rover: And what makes you so sure of that, huh?

Alex Rover: Because the whole world loves Alex Rover.

Alexandra Rover: Really? I know "Translated in 21 different languages." No pressure, no pressure, no pressure.

Nim Rusoe: My dad always told me stories about her- How she was this great oceanographer. Stories about the baby they had and how my mom just had to name her... Nim. She invented that name. At least that's how my dad tells the story. That's all my mother is to me now- just these stories. But they're really some amazing stories. Like the one he calls "The Oceanographer and the Great Blue Whale". Once upon a time, the oceanographer went out on the wide-open sea to find out what was in the stomach of the great blue whale. As my mother was staring into the mouth of of the whale, a mysterious ship came out of nowhere. It was called The Buccaneer Ship. It got much too close and it frightened the whale. And the oceanographer was swallowed and taken by the sea. Dad felt like we should sail the ocean and look for that blue whale - that someday, that whale would bring her back to us. I think he just missed her. We both did. By my fourth birthday, we had sailed around the globe... twice- From the Cape of Good Hope to the tip of Patagonia... from Singapore to the Cook Islands. Then one day, we found it- our home.
