My Watch Book: "Killing No One Left"

Killing is not a film worthy of contemporary audiences to appreciate with a challenging mentality. Whether it is the picture or the plot, it is too pediatric compared with the criminal cult films nowadays. The scale of the film is not big at all, and it is far from the banned film level we usually imagine. Perhaps, in the 1970s, this kind of film really caused a great response. The ravaged and murdered two young girls in the first half of the film, and the bloody revenge of the girls’ parents in the later period of the film. It is already a very exciting scene for the audience. The two policemen are a bit too much, cutting off the content of their blockade will not have any impact on the main line of the story, or does the director actually want to use the film to satirize the police authorities? This is the last one I watched among the top ten banned films in the world. Compared to the shock that "The Mermaid in the Sewer" gave me four years ago, this ending makes me quite disappointed.

The conditions are a little rough, and the effect is fifty cents, but it was really awesome at that time.

Unrated version. Craven's first feature film, invited the very abnormal-looking composer David Hess to star in the murderer Krug, and wrote and sang original music for the film. Too casual depictions of abuse and murder, careless plot organization, and considering the bad value output to the audience, made this film marked as banned. In fact, as the source of Craven's film creation is quite interesting, this year's Blu-ray content of Arrow Shadow Company is worth watching.
