'The Broken Circle Breakdown': a Thought Provoking Film

This film centers on happiness and sadness that a child brings to the couple. Music carries the story on. No matter when people feel excited or gloomy, they sing. Music is salvation and plays a more effective role than religion in some sense.

Actor John Heldenbergh and actress Veerle Baetens vividly depicts ups and downs of lives of roles of the film.

I realize that we should not take for granted when we have gifts from God. Be grateful and show the gratitude.

Music, editting, narrating are all good.

We could not understand the sorrow of losing a family member especially a young child. Therefore, I learned from the film that it was better to keep silent and stay away from those who have already been hurt.
