Just took a look at Wiki, this movie is by far the highest-grossing French movie. It has reached 20 million in France, and there are more than 60 million people in France. What? You said that you who learn French have never watched or even listened to this movie, uh... it's as if you don't know the Titanic. I can only say that Dany Boon is too good, directing and acting himself, and his performance in Nothing Declares and stand-ins are also my favorite types of movies. Differences between North and South, regional prejudice are common in China, and still exist in the small country of France. See how a Southerner adapts to living with the Yankees. This time I paid special attention to their accents, as well as the accent of the gendarmerie, which is funny, Toulouse (the accent that is most easily imitated and mocked in France).
